Exedra
An exedra is a semicircular recess or hall. At the Capitoline Museums the Marcus Aurelius Exedra is the glass hall built over the former Roman Garden to house the bronze equestrian statue.

The exedra is the one room in the Capitoline Museums designed around a single object, and the original bronze is there while the square outside keeps a copy.
