Ingresso means both the entrance door and the admission itself. Ingresso gratuito is free admission, ingresso ridotto the reduced fare and ultimo ingresso the last admission time.
Example
A sign reading ultimo ingresso ore 18.00 at Castel Sant'Angelo means the door closes at six even though the museum stays open later.
